Composer Fanny Crosby (1820-1915), wrote and published thousands of beautiful hymns, many are sung today in churches and still popular in worship service.
She could not see with her natural eyes, but she could see with her heart. She could not explain what a human face looked like, but she knew the face of God.
A wonderful Savior is Jesus my Lord,
A wonderful Savior to me;
He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock,
Where rivers of pleasure I see.
He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock
That shadows a dry, thirsty land;
He hideth my life with the depths of His love,
And covers me there with His hand,
And covers me there with His hand.
