Marriage Prayer

Dear LORD,
Blessed be your name for you are Holy
In all wisdom and power You created all things for your glory
Have mercy on me for I am a sinner
Cleanse me from my unrighteousness for I am not worthy
In your presence and by your grace -- I come
You are my judge and my witness -- hear me Oh God

Fill me with the spirit of your everlasting love
Bless her to be patient and to be kind
To be my shoulder and my strength
So, she can keep my love -- to grow and to blossoms
Water it like a flower, color it like a rainbow
So, she would not lose it and nobody can steal it from her

I offered her my love unconditionally without reservations
Binds us with your grace, faith, hope and love
A hope no sorrows can dethrone her from my heart
For my love is not fleeting -- It stands for truthfulness and kindness
Bless our marriage to be strong and fruitful against the tides of life
For I love her with all my heart and with all my life

May Your abundance blessings be poured upon us
May our children be your children
They will come and abide in your word -- always
For you are eternal -- merciful, wonderful and counselor
Thank you for giving her to me
To share and to endure --
In joy and in suffering
