Clarke's Three laws
British science fiction writer Arthur C. Clarke (1917-2008) coined three laws dealing with prediction: two from his 1962 essay "Hazards of Prophecy: The Failure of Imagination" and a third from his 1973 essay "Profiles of the Future." The third law is perhaps the most widely quoted.
Arthur C. Clarke formulated the following three “laws” of prediction:
1. When a distinguished but elderly scientist states that something is possible, he is almost certainly right. When he states that something is impossible, he is very probably wrong.
2. The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them into the impossible.
3. Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.
The Word Clock
This word clock is truly amazing and like a digital clock is programmed to tick off a second at a time. What may puzzle some is the unique way that it uses words, instead of numbers.
Trap the Cat Puzzle
The objective of this puzzle is to totally in-circle the cat to block any wayout of escape. Start by clicking on the cat, then on the light green dots to try and trap it with dark green dots. This is a smart cat, so good luck!
The Red Block Puzzle
This is a real test of your ability to problem solve. While it may seem a bit tricky at first, this puzzle can easily be solved. Don't give up! The object is to use your mouse to move the other blocks so that you can slide the red block out. Good luck!

Linsanity
Wow! what else Jeremy Lin can do in basketball?
Lin gave a jaw dropping performance last night in Toronto Air Canada Center.
"You just watch and you're in awe," D'Antoni said. "He held it until five tenths of a second left. He was pretty confident that was going in, no rebounds, no nothing. That ball was being buried."
Lin does not play rock 'n roll but pick 'n roll.
